Visual Reel

About me

I began my career as an actor as most performers do, staring in the mirror. Making faces, doing voices, miming to songs and trying out routines. I decided to start down the path of acting at the age of 14 and going on to study performing arts at college and then on to drama school in 2006.

Here I was trained in the Stanislavski method; drawing upon ones own feelings and experiences to convey the "truth" of the character they are portraying. I was also trained in classical/Shakespearean theatre, circus skills, stage combat, acting for camera, acting for radio, vocal mechanics, Alexander technique, dance and singing. After leaving with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 I began working professionally in the business performing on stage, screen and as a voice artist.

Over the years I have enjoyed working on shorts and feature films, stage shows all the way from fringe comedy troupes all the way to classical Shakespearean productions and of course the world of voice acting. Voice acting began in the form of imitation and impersonation having grown up with the classical cartoons of the 80s and 90s.

As well as performing I am also a professional writer and have written and co-written novels and screenplays some of which I have starred in. I have also worked in standup comedy, presenting, film making and ventriloquism (though he will insist it is in fact I that am the dummy!)

I have always believed that to be an artist one must take their craft seriously but remember to always have fun. I love what I do and I love to tell stories, entertain and make people happy. I was told by an actor “If you ge to do the job you’ve always wanted, you’ll never work another day in your life.”

In short, I am a dedicated, vigorous and authentic performer as well as a fun, quirky and a creative thespian to have in any troupe of players.

Testimonials

“We had the pleasure of working with Harry, who provided the voiceover for our latest video production, in which we explore our intralogistics solutions and mixed fleet approach in greater depth. Given the technical nature of the content and the complexity of the concepts, it was essential that the narration conveyed a sense of knowledge and curiosity, without sounding overly enthusiastic or insincere.

Harry struck exactly the right tone. His intonation conveyed expertise while remaining engaging and easy to listen to. Communication was consistently prompt, and despite a delay on our side due to internal feedback, we still managed to launch on schedule. We can recommend Harry with complete confidence.”

Araitz Claramunt Oregi - ROCLA

Working with Harry to bring our hero, Dorf the Dwarf, to life was an absolute joy! Harry brought a lot of heart, humor, and nuance to the role. Dorf truly came alive through his performance. Harry is responsive, reliable, and incredibly dedicated. I especially appreciated the care he put into the small details, which added real depth and personality to Dorf. Even with a tight deadline, he delivered quality work without ever cutting corners. I’d work with him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him for your future project!

— Lisette Amargo - Rapidfire Games

“A perfect storyteller and narrator who truly recaptured the same magic I felt when I first wrote the book.”

— Tegan Anderson - Little Oaks Independent Publishing

"Harry... Damn. I really can't think of anything clever or powerful enough to do him justice. He's an incredibly talented class act. I would hire this dude over and over again for his performance and spirit he brought to our project. Don't even take another breath until you give this guy the part. I'm dead ass serious!"

— Micah Orsie - Crashable Studios

“This is our second time working with Harry - for this role he has done a character as the polar opposite of the previous character which was a feat in itself. Absolutely fantastic audition, and always a pleasure to work with. Sent tons of variations in his lines for us to use. 10/10'“

— Max Hayon - Foulball Hangover Surbiton
